Information Technology System Engineer

Job Title: IT System Engineer (Must be fluent in Turkish) Location: LondonReports to: IT and Change ManagerKey Responsibilities:Manage IT infrastructure, including software/hardware installation, server management, and network configuration, ensuring system security, backups, and disaster recovery plans are consistently maintained.Provide Level 1/2 support for core banking system (Temenos T24), monitor systems and logs, manage IT helpdesk queries, and support EoD processes.Maintain and upgrade systems (patches, licenses, certificates), oversee inventory, and ensure compliance with IT and cyber security standards.Support branch communication systems, troubleshoot incidents, and deliver reliable test/production environments for bank-wide applications.Collaborate on continuous improvement, risk management, and ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and operational procedures.Must be able to communicate in Turkish Language fluently.Requirements:Bachelor’s in IT or related field; 5+ years\’ IT operations experience, preferably in banking.Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, network and system security.Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) preferred.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, ethical approach.
