Payroll Officer (HR & Recruitment Experience Desirable)Salary equivalent: £30,000+ per annum (Part-time options considered) Payroll & HR Assistant Our client is a prestigious school in West London with a fantastic culture both for employees and students. They are urgently hiring for a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll & HR Assistant to join their team. This is a key support role working across both payroll and HR functions.The successful candidate will play a vital part in the smooth running of day-to-day operations and will also contribute to an exciting systems migration project.(Currently use Cintra for payroll and BreatheHR for HR but they are in the process of transitioning to Every HR and DataPlan. Familiarity with any of these systems is highly desirable and will support a seamless transition.) PayrollEnd-to-end processing of monthly payroll using CINTRA (Payroll) & BREATHE (HRIS)Input and verify payroll data accurately, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.Liaise with payroll provider to ensure smooth processing and reporting.Respond to payroll queries from employees in a timely and supportive manner.Support with pension enrolments, income protection and liaise with external providers as required.Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for senior management.Stay updated with payroll legislation and ensure compliance at all times. HR AdministrationSupport onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.Maintain accurate HR records and update the HRIS (currently BreatheHR).Support HR queries and escalate when necessary.Assist in drafting letters, contracts, and other documentation.Ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies. System Migration ProjectAssist with data collection, cleansing, and transfer to Every HR and DataPlan.Help test new system functionality and provide feedback to the project team.Support with communications related to the new platforms.Ensure employee data is migrated accurately and securely. What We’re Looking ForPrevious experience in a payroll and/or HR administrative role.Experience using TPS software is desirable.Familiarity with Cintra, DataPlan, BreatheHR, or Every HR is a distinct advantage.Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and Word).Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.High level of confidentiality and discretion.Willingness to complete a DBS check.
