About Us

Prep Smart Consulting Ltd is a UK-based education and career consultancy supporting individuals on their path to academic and professional success. We specialise in university admissions, test prep, and career coaching for global learners, and we are now expanding into international compliance support.

As part of our growth, we’re applying for a UK Sponsor Licence and are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented HR Compliance Administrator to support this process and manage the responsibilities related to maintaining our sponsor status with the UK Home Office.

About the Role

The HR Compliance Administrator will take on the key responsibility of serving as our Level 1 User (L1U) in the UK Home Office Sponsor Management System (SMS). This role is essential to ensuring that we remain compliant with the legal duties of being a sponsor, including record keeping, reporting, and the assignment of Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS). While prior experience with sponsor licence administration is preferred, full training and support will be provided. What matters most is your attention to detail, reliability, and UK immigration eligibility.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the SMS system
  • Assign Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) as directed
  • Assist in collecting and preparing documentation required by the Home Office
  • Ensure deadlines and compliance obligations are met
  • Notify the Home Office of any reportable changes
  • Maintain internal documentation and audit trails related to migrant workers
  • Communicate with company directors and advisors to keep processes aligned

Requirements

  • Must be physically based in the UK
  • Must have settled status (e.g., British Citizen or Indefinite Leave to Remain)
  • Must be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Reliable, organised, and able to follow procedures independently
  • Prior experience in HR, compliance, education administration or visa support is a plus
  • Comfortable working remotely and handling sensitive administrative duties
