Embracing our core values and behavioral competencies strengthens relationships with our customers and colleagues.Purpose of the Role:In the HR Business Partner role – West Midlands, Midlands & East, your main job is to ensure the business agenda, people plan and colleague lifecycle is brought to life across Moss. You will collaborate with Area Managers, Store Managers and Deputy Managers. Your tasks will include supporting the delivery of the people plan in line with business objectives. This role oversees performance management processes within your region, in conjunction with your stakeholders, ensuring this drives business improvement through the setting of clear objectives, effective feedback mechanisms, and the improvement of customer service standards, through behaviours aligned with our values.Key Responsibilities:Ensure the business agenda, people plan and Colleague Lifecycle is brought to life across the business.Minimum of three field-based visits per week, providing Area Managers, Store Managers, and Deputy Managers with advice and support relating to their people, processes, and policies.Management of performance management activity across your region, as outlined in the role purpose,Contribute to and support the delivery of the people plan in line with the business agenda and key priorities for your region.Drive and deliver HR/people initiatives to support business needs, such as talent development, employee engagement, management development, and organisational change.Seek to continuously improve the quality and value of the people service provided to the organisation.Responsible for all Employee Relations case management in your region, with the ability to take overall responsibility for upholding employee relation processes, in line with ACAS best practice and Company policies.Ability to understand and interpret data, such as employee relation case trends, colleague turnover and others, utilising data sources to concisely communicate trends and analysis with stakeholders.Proactively identify areas of risk, specifically relating to colleague welfare, employee relations, recruitment, training, and development then being able to effectively link in with stakeholders to find suitable solutions.Support the development and continuous improvement of people systems and policies in line with best practice, as necessary.Provide support with various people-related projects or roles within the team, such as training, recruitment, and payroll, and contribute to other projects and operational activities as needed.What You\’ll Need to Succeed:Technical:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.Experience in a generalist HR environment or CIPD Level 5 qualificationKnowledge of robust, up-to-date employment legislation.Understanding of comprehensive HR practices and procedures.About You:Proficient in articulate and clear expression, skilled in engaging and meaningful communication, both in writing and speaking.Skilled in active listening, demonstrating an ability to fully engage and understand others\’ viewpoints and concerns.Ability to build strong, pragmatic working relationships at all levels in the Company.Able to lead and influence change throughout the organisation.Rewards & Benefits:Employee Discount: 70% discount across all our stores.Season Ticket Loan: Financial support for commuting.Cycle to Work Scheme: Encouraging eco-friendly travel.Discounted Gym Membership with PureGym: Promoting physical health and fitness.Life Insurance: Providing peace of mind for colleagues.Ongoing Development: Tailored to suit your career ambitions from day one.Access to Moss Learning: An online learning platform for skill enhancement.Employee Hub: Easy access on the go to colleague benefits, recognition, wellbeing, and company updates.New Baby Gift: Celebrating important personal milestones of colleagues.If you want to know more about MOSS, our people and our culture, search #LifeatMoss or TailorYourCareer on LinkedIn.Moss is unable to offer visa sponsorship.
