About the Role:

We are seeking Health & Safety Professionals at all levels to support major nuclear defence infrastructure programmes in the Glasgow area. These roles will involve working closely with project and operational teams to ensure high standards of health, safety, and compliance across complex and highly regulated projects. You will support the delivery of safe systems of work, promote a positive safety culture, and help ensure compliance with company, client, and legislative requirements. Experience within nuclear, defence, construction, infrastructure, or other regulated industries is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide health and safety support and guidance across nuclear defence projects.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and behavioural safety observations.
  • Support the preparation and review of RAMS, permits, and safe systems of work.
  • Investigate incidents and support corrective and preventative actions.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation, CDM regulations, and client standards.
  • Promote a positive safety culture through coaching and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare health and safety reports, KPI data, and assurance documentation.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience within a Health & Safety role in construction, infrastructure, engineering, defence, nuclear, or other regulated sectors.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate essential; higher qualifications desirable depending on level.
  • IOSH membership or working towards Chartered status.
  • Good understanding of UK health and safety legislation and risk management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Eligibility for and ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
  • British National status (essential for defence projects).
