Our client, an established multi-utilities infrastructure company, is looking for a motivated Health & Safety Auditor to join their growing HSQE team. As the Health & Safety Auditor, you’ll carry out Health & Safety audits across various sites, regions, and depots, supporting operational teams and ensuring compliance with internal standards and external client requirements. If you’ve got previous experience as a Health & Safety Auditor within the multi-utilities or construction sectors – apply today!Key responsibilities for the Health & Safety Auditor:Conduct structured Health & Safety audits across operational sites, regions, and depots.Audit key areas including plant, equipment, and excavation safety controls.Review training records, competency certifications, and authorisations.Assess vehicle and driver compliance.Support site-specific risk assessments where required.Track and monitor close-out of non-conformances from audits.Follow up with site teams, managers, and subcontractors to ensure actions are closed.Maintain clear records, action logs, and reports.Promote a positive safety culture and support the company’s zero-incident strategy.Support compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.Skills and experience required for the Health & Safety Auditor:Previous auditing experience within construction or utilities – EssentialStrong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, regulations & best practice.Multi-Utility background: Gas, Water, ElectricConfident reviewing and auditing compliance records, certifications and training.Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 management systems.NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage audit schedules and follow-up actions.Excellent communication skills, confident working across all levels of the business.Full clean UK driving licence.Ref: JB-15150Location: Office + Site Visits – Yorkshire or the Northwest (depending on your location)Salary: £40,000 + Company Car + Benefits
