Job Title: Head of PeopleLocation: Birmingham (4 days in office, 1 day from home)Salary: £60-65k plus BenefitsMy client are recruiting for a Head of People to be responsible for leading all aspects of the human resources function within their organisation. This encompasses strategic planning, talent management, employee engagement, learning and development, and recruitment initiatives. The Head of People will work with senior leadership to align HR strategies with the organisations overall objectives and foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.This role would suit a Seasoned HR/People Manager or a senior People/HR Business Partner looking to move into HR/People Manager Role.Key Responsibilities:Strategic HR LeadershipDevelop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with Company goals and values.Provide guidance and support to senior management on people-related matters, including workforce planning, organisational design, and culture development.Talent ManagementOversee the entire employee lifecycle, from sponsorship management, recruitment, and onboarding to performance management and offboarding.Implement effective strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.Drive initiatives to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and career development.Learning and DevelopmentDevelop and implement comprehensive learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.Identify training needs across the organisation and collaborate with department heads to design relevant training modules.Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives and adjust strategies as needed to meet UK objectives.Recruitment and OnboardingLead the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates.Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies.Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, facilitating their integration into the company and providing necessary support and resources.Compliance and Employee RelationsEnsure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.Handle employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner, promoting a positive work environment and resolving conflicts as neededImplement policies and procedures that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organisation.Skills RequiredExtensive HR experience in a fast-pacedStrategic thinker with hands-on execution abilityExceptional stakeholder management & influencing skillsCommercially astute with a data-driven approach to People strategyA collaborative leader who can mentor and develop their teamBenefitsSalary upto 65kPensionBlue Light CardAccess to online PerksGreat working environment - team of hard working and passionate travellers from around the world.
