You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and tracking a comprehensive and complex collection of high value items and artwork, ensuring proper cataloguing, storage, and handling of valuable assets.Location: Primarily based at our large warehouse in Southeast London, with oversight of multiple sites across the UK and abroad.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Collection ManagementDesign, implement, and maintain comprehensive inventory management systemsCatalogue new acquisitions with detailed condition reports, provenance documentation, and authentication recordsOversee digital database management and ensure data accuracy across all platformsConduct systematic audits and regular condition assessmentsOperations & LogisticsCoordinate complex packing, shipping, and receiving operations for high-value itemsManage relationships with specialist art handlers, couriers, and logistics partnersOversee warehouse layout optimisation and storage solutionsEnsure compliance with insurance requirements and security protocolsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead and mentor warehouse and inventory staffDevelop comprehensive training programmes on proper handling and storage proceduresFoster a culture of precision, care, and continuous improvementRequired QualificationsProven experience managing large-scale, complex warehouse operations with multi-site coordination and diverse inventory typesDemonstrated experience with collection management software and digital cataloguing systemsExcellent organisational and documentation skillsProven leadership and team development skillsSalary RangeCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceFull benefits package including health insurance, pension and life assurance
