Hartmann Young are partnered with a leading UK-based nutraceutical manufacturer to identify an exceptional Head of Commercial to lead their commercial operations. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimising client engagement, and ensuring full utilisation of manufacturing capacity through a commercially focused and proactive approach.
The Head of Commercial will be accountable for shaping and executing the commercial strategy across multiple channels. This includes leadership of a multidisciplinary team and ownership of sales performance, customer development, pricing strategy, and new business acquisition. The role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing organisation with ambitious plans for expansion across domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a commercial team of five, overseeing sales, marketing, customer experience, and commercial support functions.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive growth and increase utilisation of production capacity.
- Identify new revenue opportunities through market analysis, key account expansion, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
- Oversee pricing, proposals, contract negotiations, and margin management in collaboration with finance and operations.
- Support cross-functional alignment with supply chain, production, and R&D to ensure commercial objectives are met.
- Monitor and report on commercial performance, KPIs, and sales forecasts to inform strategic decision-making.
This position is located in the very south of the UK, does not offer visa support or relocation. Compensation: Circa £90k, plus performance-based bonus and other added benefits.
