Job title: Group Fleet ManagerLocation: Hybrid workingDuration: Full time and PermanentReporting to: Project Manager – Fleet & ProcurementSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experienceThe organisation: Our client is a principled service provider working to deliver high quality, personalised care and support within a strongly person-centred approach. They support adults with complex needs and care for children and young people, offering carefully designed programmes in specialist centres, many of which have schools attached.The Fleet: A total of 1100 vehicles operating across 600 sites and office locations. Circa 925 of which are multi driver vehicles allocated to our operational services. 75 maintenance vehicles and 100 company car and salary sacrifice vehicles. Vehicle damage rates are high.The role: Managing the fleet function of our client and its subsidiaries. Overseeing and mentoring a small fleet support team and working closely with the Project Manager – Fleet & Procurement to ensure the efficient and cost-effective running of all aspects of our clients Fleet. Maintaining good communication between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, to minimise downtime, reduce wear and tear, tightly control vehicle hires, monitor fuel costs and ensure full driver compliance. Tasks include, but not limited to:Management, development and support of internal fleet teamResponsibility for the safe, efficient and effective management of the fleet of 1100 leased, hired and owned fleetsManagement and analysis fuel spend, vehicle tracking and daily rental spends. Ensuring policy compliance of our 4000 plus company and grey fleet driversAccount manager liaison point between internal stakeholders, external advisors and our fleet suppliers.Providing regular advice and guidance to drivers and their line managers Ensuring all internal and supplier fleet and invoicing data is accurate and up to date Provide monthly fleet management information – Fuel Card, SMR expenditure, driver compliance - to senior management and the executive team. Working with colleagues to provide accurate ESG data for SECR, SCOPE 3 The ideal candidate will be:A driven, results orientated, proactive, analytical, problem solving, team playerExperienced in managing and nurturing direct reportsFluent in MS Office and have strong data analysis, financial and reporting skillsA minimum of 2 years into a direct management role of a fleet of 100 + vehiclesAble to prioritise, work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesDue to the nature of the position, successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS application prior to commencement of employment, the disclosure expense will be met by the employerTo apply for this role please submit your full and up to date CV to Nigel McMinn at Pybus Recruitment
