We have a very flexible approach to working from home or remotely.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Graduate Energy Assessor to join our forward-thinking team. This role will give you hands-on experience in assessing and advising on building energy performance across residential, commercial, and public sector projects.You’ll work closely with senior assessors and engineers on real-world projects from day one. You’ll also receive extensive training and mentoring, with the potential to progress quickly into a more senior role and gain formal accreditation in SAP, SBEM, EPCs, and other key assessment tools.What You’ll Be DoingSupporting the delivery of energy assessments (SAP, SBEM, EPCs) for new builds, conversions, and refurbishmentsAnalysing architectural and M&E plans to produce energy modelsAssisting with Part L compliance checks and building regulation submissionsSupporting sustainability strategies and low-carbon design adviceConducting site surveys, data collection, and validation of on-site conditionsLiaising with clients, contractors, and design teams to deliver clear, accurate adviceWhat We’re Looking ForWe welcome applicants from across the UK, particularly those based in London, the South West, the Midlands, or Belfast.Essential:BSc or MSc in a relevant field: Energy Engineering, Environmental Science, Building Services Engineering, or similarStrong communication and report-writing skillsExcellent attention to detail and analytical thinkingInterest in sustainable buildings, energy modelling, and complianceAbility to work independently and collaboratively in project teamsNice to Have (or Willing to Learn):Experience with energy assessment software (Design SAP, Elmhurst, IES, SBEM, or similar)Understanding of UK Building Regulations (especially Part L)Awareness of sustainable design technologies and certification schemes (BREEAM, Passivhaus, etc.)Basic familiarity with AutoCAD or 3D BIM toolsWhat We OfferFlexible working (location and hours)25 days leave p.a.
