Governance Manager | Events & Charity | Hybrid | London | Up to £65,000An exciting opportunity has arisen in a leading Events company\’s charitable arm. This role sits within the finance team and assists the CFO in compliance and governance across their foundation and how that effects the commercial business. This is a permanent position, based in central London sat within their luxury offices. This role supports the CFO in all elements of compliance, governance and management of senior stakeholders. Key duties include: Act as the central point of governance expertise across the charity Lead the planning and delivery of governance meetings including the board and senior stakeholder meetingsMaintain the governance calendar ensuring that all deadlines are met in relation to controls Ensuring the compliance regulatory developments are up to date and respond accordinglyReview and create organisational policies Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels Develop, manage and embed controls within the wider groupAdhoc administrative tasks including minute taking and diary scheduling The ideal candidate will:Have a wealth of experience of governance Ideally you will have worked within a charitable organisationHave a passion for charity and sports Have excellent organisational skillsThis company boosts excellent benefits including ample holidays, 8% pension, private healthcare and life assurance and discretionary bonus.
