Our 99,600 employees operate a network of 2,600 offices and laboratories around the world.Job DescriptionAs the Global Head of HR Shared Services (HRSS), you will partner with senior leaders globally within the SGS business, the Human Resource function and other key stakeholders to develop strategies, roadmaps, business cases and plans to modernize the HR function at SGS through Shared Services solutions. You will turn those strategies and roadmaps into actionable plans and lead the SGS organization through the implementation of and stabilization of future-state operations.As we transition to steady-state operations you will work closely with the Human Resources/People & Culture Leadership Team and our Global Business Services (GBS) organization to guarantee adherence to global standards, oversee Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and ensure continuous improvement. In the first 60 Days:Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, Senior HR professionals and other partners in Finance, IT and Global Business ServicesUnderstand SGS\'s broader strategic objectives (Strategy \'27) and how HR Shared Services plays a direct role in helping the organization achieve its objectivesTake initial footprint for HR Shared Services and augment into a proposal and business case for an HR Shared Services roadmap over the next several yearsIn the First Year:Complete a first phase of implementation of HR Shared Services in alignment with approved roadmaps and business caseParticipate in and provide recommendations to the HR Technology roadmap to support automation, improved employee experience and realization of efficiencies in HR OperationsDevelop and implement service-level agreements for all defined and implemented HR Shared ServicesAdjust and finalize multi-year roadmaps for additional opportunities in HR through Shared Services solutionsContinuous:Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with Service Level Agreements, internal requirements and internal controls.Maintain and strengthen relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including business leaders, senior HR leaders and other partners in GBS, Finance and IT. Foster a business partnering and customer-focused service delivery approach.Seek and capitalize on opportunities for continuous improvement through process optimization.Ensure processes capture data to provide insights to support continuous improvement. Utilize workforce and operational data to achieve continuous improvement.Build and develop a strong, engaged Shared Services network and team. Champion talent management, training, and succession planning.Uphold a robust control environment. Oversee compliance with the internal control standards and data privacy laws and regulations. Partner with Internal Audit and manage audit follow-ups.Develop a business continuity plan and ensure the plan is always up to date and executable when needed.QualificationsEducation (Essential)University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Fluent in English.
