Our highly motivated and talented Pathology team will appreciate your positive and enthusiastic attitude as you deliver quality pathology services. You’ll enjoy a varied range of responsibilities:
- Performing biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation and reporting
- Quality control and keeping records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables
- Validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures
It is essential you’re registered with the HCPC and have relevant laboratory experience in Histopathology. You’ll bring to the role a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques. A great communicator and team player, you understand how vital it is to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service.
To succeed as a Senior Biomedical Scientist you will have:
- Relevant laboratory experience in Histopathology; multi-disciplinary biomedical science experience is an advantage, however training will be provided
- Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work well both within a small team and alone
- The ability to understand how vital it is to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service
