ABOUT THE ROLE
The AdTech Platforms Manager supports the day-to-day operation and ongoing improvement of STV's advertising technology platforms across VOD, simulcast and linear. Working closely with Engineering, Product and Commercial Ad Operations, this role helps ensure stable ad delivery, effective platform configuration and reliable integrations with third-party partners. The role will also support testing, troubleshooting and platform improvements as STV's advertising ecosystem continues to evolve. We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and interested in developing their experience across streaming and advertising technology platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the day-to-day management of STV's AdTech platforms and workflows
- Monitor platform health and AdTech metrics, helping to investigate and resolve issues
- Assist with FreeWheel ad server configuration, maintenance and rollout of new features
- Maintain awareness of creative workflows, metadata and user data integrations
- Work with internal teams and external partners on new features, testing and platform upgrades
- Help maintain operational documentation and platform processes
- Support compliance with industry standards, security practices and advertising guidelines
- Communicate platform updates, issues and delivery impacts to relevant stakeholders
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Experience working with AdTech, digital advertising or streaming platforms
- Understanding of digital video delivery and advertising workflows
- Familiarity with platforms such as FreeWheel, Brightcove, Yospace or similar technologies is desirable
- Experience troubleshooting technical platform or integration issues
- Awareness of metadata, targeting or ad-serving concepts
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product and Ad Operations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-moving AdTech environment
- Experience within broadcast, streaming or digital media environments is beneficial
