Finatal is partnering with an innovative manufacturing business, with a strong presence in the UK and a reputation for operational excellence, looking to hire a commercially focused FP&A Analyst to support its continued growth and transformation. With a Central London HQ and a collaborative finance team, the business is on a mission to enhance its data-driven decision-making and commercial insight capabilities. Reporting into the Head of FP&A and working closely with senior stakeholders across operations, finance, and commercial teams, you’ll take ownership of critical planning and performance analysis tasks to help drive strategy and margin improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting monthly reporting and management packs with variance analysis and commentary.
  • Building and improving financial models across budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Partnering with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to provide financial insight.
  • Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across cost centres and revenue streams.
  • Enhancing reporting dashboards and supporting system improvements where needed.
  • Contributing to wider finance projects, including cost optimisation and investment appraisal.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Strong experience in FP&A or commercial finance, ideally within manufacturing, industrial, or product-based sectors.
  • Highly analytical with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong business partnering and communication skills.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with the confidence to work across departments and challenge assumptions.
  • Prior experience using ERP and planning/reporting tools is beneficial.
