Fire Door Carpenter – PAYE or Self EmployedFire Doors Rite, require a Carpenter or Carpenters Mate or both, who can assist/Install with works for Fire Door Installation and Fire Door Maintenance, on various MOD & commercial Sites. At present we have a few bases due to start on MOD sites, however we are a growing family run company with works starting all over the UK. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and work away at times, if not located near the base, or at other bases works dependant..The Position will suit either a Carpenter or Carpenters Mate or Semi Skilled Labourer, whom:holds a clean driving License and have access to a vehicle to get to site.Clean Criminal Record for DBS Check & Status (a requirement to access MOD sites)Asbestos Awareness Certificate in date or willing to carry out a new onevalid CSCS Card at operatives own expensewilling and able to work as part of a teamWill be required to fill out security forms with personal information in order to achieve Security Clearance Pass for access to bases and to carry out workThe role will include some heavy lifting and manual handling, training courses as applicable will be available time to time from the company, along with correct Fire Door Installation & Fire Door Maintenance techniques.PAYE – As more MOD sites become active, transport may be provided via the company with other operatives also working away. Accommodation will also be provided with a daily subsistence allowance, if required to work away.Further InformationHourly Rate of Β£18.00 – Β£22.00 per hour PAYE – CSCS Carpenter, Β£14.00 per Hour Carpenters Mate dependant on experience.Self Employed Rate will be negotiable, dependant on experience.Own Tools to carry out the works essential.Travel to and from Site not Paid if Local, and not more than 1.5 hrs away each trip.Standard hours – 7:30am – 5:00pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch breakOvertime maybe available but will be paid at Standard Hourly Rate23 days holiday, plus bank holidays (3 days retained for Christmas Shutdown) Pro Rata dependant on date of joining and PAYE OnlyPPE Provided (excluding Steel Toe Cap Boots) – Vis Vest, Goggles/Glasses & GlovesJBRP1_UKTJ
