Redstone Commodity Search is working with a leading agricultural commodities trading firm seeking to hire an experienced Fertilizer Trader to expand their commercial activities across the UK and European markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute trading strategies for a portfolio of fertilizers (e.g., urea, ammonium nitrate, NPK) with full P&L responsibility.
- Originate, negotiate, and close physical fertilizer transactions with producers, distributors, and end-users across the UK and Europe.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers to grow trading volumes and improve margins.
- Monitor global market trends, pricing dynamics, freight rates, and currency risks to identify profitable opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure efficient contract execution and risk management.
