The CompanyPosh Pawn (Prestige Pawnbrokers) is a well-known company who are the subject of the long-running hit TV series ‘Posh Pawn’ which featured on primetime Channel 4.· Luxury Brands – We deal in well-known luxury brands such as Cartier, Rolex, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Chanel to name but a few.· Luxury Asset Financing – We are recognised as the ‘go to’ financier for asset-rich clients in need of instant cash against their jewellery, watches, art, handbags, cars, fine wine and other high-end luxury goods. As well as loaning against these pre-loved assets we also buy them in for resale.· Luxury Boutique Retail – Along with our online retail store, we currently have eight High Street locations in & around London plus Manchester. The next few years promises to be an exciting time with planned growth to other locations.Executive Personal Assistant – Role Overview· This varied and challenging role involves working alongside the MD and his team, helping to progress the company’s key projects & initiatives.· The MD also owns a property development company. The post-holder will assist him in sourcing the next project and will be involved with any ongoing development.· In addition, the role includes supporting the MD with maintenance/building works at his residence, plus arrangements for travel, holidays and other domestic requirements.· In summary, this is a wide-ranging role! One day you’ll be on a mission to find our next store … and the next you could be collecting the dog from day-care! Another day you might accompany the MD to a podcast … then be ordering building materials for a project. Another day you could be arranging and minuting our Management Meeting … then be in a van helping to deliver items to an auction house. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:· Supporting the MD in key and important tasks and deadlines.· Diary management.· Acting as first point of contact, dealing with correspondence and phone calls.· Working on a daily basis with our Finance, Banking, Admin, Marketing, Store, Stock & HR teams.· Liaising with suppliers and contractors.· Negotiating and working with estate and letting agents, architects, and solicitors.· Assisting with new store set ups.· Personal support with organising home maintenance and booking of travel etc.· All arrangements for our regular management meetings, including sourcing venue, compiling agenda and minuting action points.· Arrange staff social functions.· Compilation, prep and typing of general correspondence and reports.· Travel to external meetings. · Streamlining existing procedures. Skills and Person Profile· The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience of working at senior Director level.· Team player with ability to build strong & collaborative working relationships.· Discretion and trustworthiness – you will often be party to sensitive information.· Outstanding organiser and multi-tasker.· Strong communicator – excellent oral and written skills.· High attention to detail.· Flexible ‘can do’ attitude.· Self-motivated.· Calm.· Resilient.· Tact and diplomacy.· Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint etc.
