Our client, a rapidly growing systematic hedge fund is hiring an Execution Trader to join its Equity Volatility desk. This is an exciting chance to work in a high-performing team where execution quality and market expertise are at the core. You’ll sit close to the action, partnering with quants and traders on semi-systematic strategies, with exposure to cutting-edge tools and processes.Responsibilities of the Role:Execute equity derivatives trades (index and single stock options) across global markets.Analyse and optimise execution quality through pre- and post-trade analysis.Work with quants and traders to refine and enhance semi-systematic execution strategies.Use Python to build tools, streamline workflows, and support data-driven decision-making.Build strong relationships with sell-side counterparties and ensure best execution.Requirements of the Role:2–4 years’ experience in equity derivatives execution (flow or warrants desk preferred).Solid knowledge of equity options and market microstructure.Confident Python user (enough to build, adapt, and improve analytics tools).Team player with sharp attention to detail and the ability to stay cool under pressure.Driven, curious, and excited to join a fast-moving systematic environment.Why Apply with Qenexus?10+ years of buyside search experience in global markets across London, New York, Asia & The Middle East.Discretion & Delivery: At Qenexus, discretion & privacy are paramount.
