Are you an Escalator Engineer looking for a new opportunity in the industry? If the answer is yes, I want to speak to you today. We are a major and well-known escalator company. Due to our ever-growing lift service portfolio, we are looking for an Escalator Engineer in Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities of the successful Escalator Engineer:
- Servicing and maintaining customer escalators
- Servicing escalator parts
- Responding to mechanical failures and breakdowns
- Carrying out safety checks and risk assessments
- Planning and managing workload around assigned jobs
- Maintaining van stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain
- Recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the escalators compliant
- Out of hours work on a pro rata basis
Key requirements of the successful Escalator Engineer:
- NVQ3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent qualifications
- Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel
- Competitive salary paid on a monthly basis
- 34 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays
