Salary/Day rate: up to £700 GBP per day (Outside IR35)
Role – This is a great opportunity for an ERP Data Migration Manager to join our client and help transform several parts of their business. The business is going through a company-wide digital transformation that includes the implementation of multiple ERP platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will help define the Data Plan with the Data Architect and other key stakeholders.
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end data migration plan, tracking progress against the plan, and managing risks/issues/dependencies against the plan.
- Responsible for identifying the required resources for the full end-to-end migration cycle activities, including business SMEs.
- Helping to define the data objects for migration, following Data Governance processes to agree rules for migration.
- Responsible for running each stage in the migration cycle, from Cleansing, to Extract, Transform, Load and Verify.
- Responsible for plan maintenance, RAID management and status reporting for the Data Workstream.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with managing the data migration on an ERP programme (experience with IFS would be a bonus).
- Demonstrated experience to form a project plan for data specific items: strategy, migration and testing.
- Comfortable speaking about technical concepts with business people, and business issues with technical teams.
- Some domain knowledge in Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain.
- Experience with MS Project and other MS Office modules (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
- Self-starter, able to direct own work. Hands-on, can-do attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
