We're working with a globally recognised platform helping organisations build more ethical practices and infrastructure. They're looking for a very Senior Engineer who combines strong product instincts with the experience of building in fast-moving, scaling environments. This role is for someone who's been a pivotal engineer during a scale-up phase. Someone who raises the bar internally, not just meets it. They need this person to embed themselves as the technical role model and have real ownership of product direction whilst taking full advantage of the AI tooling they have on offer.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building high-quality, user-facing features using React and TypeScript
  • Contributing to backend services in Kotlin/Java
  • Working closely with Product and Design to shape and deliver impactful features
  • Owning problems end-to-end, from discovery through to production
  • Setting and evolving engineering standards, practices, and ways of working
  • Leveraging modern AI tooling to improve velocity, quality, and developer experience

What they're looking for:

  • Experience as a key engineer in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Strong React and TypeScript expertise, with solid backend experience (Kotlin or Java)
  • A genuine product mindset — you think in terms of user outcomes, not just delivery
  • Proven ability to raise engineering standards and influence peers
  • Comfortable using AI tools as part of your day-to-day development workflow
