We are actively looking for a Senior Project Installation Engineer for power cable projects in the UK area, with strong experience in method statements and installation procedures.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as technical interface with client for document preparation and review
- Act as technical point of contact for project work scopes
- Manage civil works subcontractors at landfall interface
- Conduct periodic site visits in the UK to monitor progress of landfall works and subcontractor performance
- Report outcomes of meetings and technical discussions to the Installation Department
- Review and interpret technical and contractual documentation
- Develop technical solutions aligned with client requirements
- Support engineering decision-making through structured technical analysis
- Ensure engineering solutions meet cost, quality, and HSE standards
- Liaise with subcontractors, clients, and authorities to manage documentation comments
- Engineering scope (method statements & procedures)
- CBRA (Cable Burial Risk Assessment)
- Route Engineering
- BAS (Burial Assessment Study)
- Survey works
- Cable installation works
- Pre-sweeping / dredging works
- Mattress installation works
- Rock placement (rock dumping)
- Trenching works
- Cable pull-in at landfall and offshore substation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering Technology or Naval Engineering is preferred
- Strong ability to interpret geotechnical data
- Experience in power cable installation engineering
- Strong experience with method statements and installation procedures
- Site experience considered a strong plus
- UK-based candidates preferred
