We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role will focus on planned maintenance, reactive breakdown support, fault-finding, small improvement works, and accurate engineering documentation within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment, utilities, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Fault-find and resolve breakdowns affecting process, facilities, and controlled-environment systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using site systems and regulated documentation standards.
- Support minor modifications, installations, commissioning, and small engineering improvement projects.
- Review maintenance tasks and highlight improvements, recurring issues, spare parts gaps, or safety risks.
- Work closely with internal teams to minimise disruption and keep equipment available.
Relevant Experience
- Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, food, or regulated site environment.
- Experience with temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, HVAC/BMS, cleanrooms, cold rooms, stability chambers, purified water, or process utility systems.
- Good fault-finding ability across instrumentation, controls, and site services.
- Aware of GMP/GxP documentation would be useful.
- PLC, PCS, or control system troubleshooting experience would be beneficial.
