Engineering Tutors – Mechanical & MachiningFull-time, Permanent – Monday to FridayLocation: Bradford, West YorkshireAre you an experienced Engineer with a passion for developing the next generation of talent? We’re looking for two dedicated Engineering Tutors – one specialising in Mechanical Engineering and the other in Machining (Milling/Turning/CNC) – to join a well-established training provider.You’ll deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to apprentices and adult learners, ensuring they gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to excel in their careers. With a strong commitment to quality and learner success, you’ll play a key role in shaping the workforce of tomorrow.What you’ll be doing:Delivering engaging, industry-relevant lessons that inspire and challenge learners.Designing and delivering differentiated schemes of work and lesson plans.Supporting learners throughout their programme, ensuring timely completion of qualifications and standards.Maintaining accurate records of learner progress and achievement.Working closely with employers to ensure training meets industry needs.Contributing to internal quality assurance processes and continuous improvement.What we’re looking for:Proven industry experience in either Mechanical Engineering or Machining (Milling/Turning/CNC).Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and vocational training.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusivity.Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).The benefits:Competitive salary package.Monday–Friday working pattern (including one day per week without teaching for preparation and marking).Supportive, collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional development.If you’re passionate about engineering and want to make a lasting impact on learners and industry, we’d love to hear from you.
