A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within Integrated Utility Services and we are looking for an experienced Industrial Resource Manager. This role can be based around the Stockton or Wakefield area.We’re growing! We’re continuing to expand our teams as we take on new large-scale projects and framework awards. Join a group that is passionate about the environment and cares about the health and wellbeing of its employees.As an Industrial Resource Manager, you would be primarily responsible for the management of our delivery workforce along with managing resource programmes, training & competency, authorisations, contractor compliance and the management of tools/equipment, PPE & vehicles.Along with a competitive salary between £45,919 and £64,712, we also offer great benefits such as;•25 days holiday plus bank holidays which increases with service•Enrolment into our enhanced pension scheme•Personal transport provision•Career development & progression with opportunity to increase your salary•Ability to earn professional qualifications•24/7 access to mental health support & counselling services•Eye care vouchers with funding towards glasses•Contractual sick pay•Long service recognition•Paid volunteering opportunities within the communityKey Responsibilities •Responsible for the on-going control, management and improvement of IUS operational work delivery instructions, ensuring industrial colleague skills and competences are appropriately aligned for safe and effective delivery.•Anticipate and maintain an adequate pipeline of appropriately skilled industrial colleagues whilst actively driving career progression.•Drive continuous improvement in workstream productivity and optimise the utilisation of the industrial team through effective programming and allocation of resources to workstreams and reactive (fault) activities.•Set and uphold performance expectations and standards of behaviour of colleagues, recognising high performance and actively managing under-performance.•Development and management of company training matrix and associated competency frameworks and manage potential non-compliance risk from skills gaps in training and competence•Enhancement of internal policies and procedures relevant to both training and supply chain management•Active management of IUS supply chain, to ensure their compliance with external accreditations•Working closely with the HSQE\’s Standards and Accreditations Advisor and Operations Management Team, to review the suitability of safety related documentation that forms part of the supplier onboarding process and annual assessment of supplier documentation•Working closely with the Procurement Team and form part of the competency assessment panel for the onboarding of new suppliersKey Competencies •Be excellent at team working•Be well organised and able to prioritise and plan•Be able to lead, motivate and inspire others•Have excellent written and spoken communication skills•Be able to coach and mentor colleagues to maximise their performance•Demonstrate resilience and respond well to challengesQualifications and AttributesEssential Qualifications & Experience:•Experience in the Electrical and/or Civil Contracting environment;•Experience in resource management and/or contractor management;•Experience managing work linked to external accreditations and safety standards; Desirable Qualifications & Experience:•Previous experience operating on Utility networks•Training Qualification;What next?We’re excited to hear from candidates with a passion for our company and the energy industry and a desire to succeed.
