A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- This hands-on role involves a broad range of tasks, including inspection, kitting, assembly, and calibration.
- You’ll collaborate with the wider team to ensure high-quality output and timely delivery.
- Use of the company ERP/MRP system (Microsoft Dynamics F&O).
- Perform incoming parts inspections to maintain high production quality.
- Liaise with suppliers to return sub-standard components and arrange replacements.
- Kit parts for sub-assemblies and final builds using ERP production orders.
- Assemble and build the company’s product range in line with documented procedures (including repair work).
- Calibrate completed products using in-house calibration equipment and accurately record data (serial numbers, calibration records, etc.).
- Pack completed products to fulfil customer orders, ensuring timely dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace and storage area.
- Ensure all production data and documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Comply with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Support with vendor assessments to evaluate the technical capabilities of new suppliers.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Engineering qualification (electrical/electronic preferred).
- Strong experience in electronic assembly.
- Calibration experience preferred.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficient in using measuring equipment.
- Comfortable working with a range of small hand tools.
The Package
