Role: Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) ConsultantLocation: The role is home / flexible-based workingEmployment Type: PermanentOverview:We are seeking a mid-level EHS Consultant to support a growing portfolio of corporate clients operating from multiple sites across the UK. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, proactive and thrives in a consultancy setting. You\’ll be delivering practical environmental, health, and safety solutions with a focus on quality and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Deliver effective consulting projects through to successful conclusionDevelop existing products and processes to ensure continual improvement in the client-facing performanceBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationshipsPartner with customers to understand their HSE needs and objectivesEffectively communicate the value proposition through involvement in proposals and presentationsRequirements:4 + years of successful operation within the HSE sector, consistently meeting client expectationsDemonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive levelProven ability to drive clients towards improved EHS performanceProven people management skillsExcellent project management skillsDemonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutionsExcellent listening, negotiation and presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFull UK driving licenceQualifications:4 + years of working in EHS services or Environmental H&S consultancy environmentGraduate IOSH membership status with up-to-date CPDPractitioner IEMA membership statusEHS auditor qualifications – ideally lead auditor statusExperience in writing and implementation of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 in multi-site businessesExperience in delivering risk assessments and compliance auditing across multi-site businessesExcellent project management skills, with particular emphasis on effectively identifying client needs and articulating them successfully within project plansExperience working within a multi-stakeholder environment where competing needs must be managed effectively in order to deliver resultsExperience working in an environment where commercial performance targets are part of the workloadAbility to effectively and concisely communicate regulatory and best practice requirements to personnel at all levels within client companiesWhat’s on Offer:The role is home / flexible-based workingThe role is available as a full-time role onlyRegular UK and Ireland travel is requiredSalary commensurate with qualifications and experienceTravel and expenses costsPension contributionDeath in service benefitA flexible benefits programme including the option to buy additional holidays and private health careRegular training and career developmentAccess to mental health support and professional financial advice.Contact Person: Elvis Eckardt
