We're supporting a well-established independent healthcare provider in the appointment of a Medical Director to lead their clinical strategy and governance across a specialist mental health service. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist looking to step into, or further develop within, a Medical Director / Responsible Officer-level role.
The Opportunity
- Board-level leadership role with influence across clinical quality and strategy
- Oversight of clinical governance, risk, and patient safety frameworks
- Work closely with operational leadership to drive service development and performance
- Lead and support multidisciplinary teams across inpatient / specialist services

The Candidate
- GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrist (on Specialist Register)
- Experience in clinical leadership / governance / service development
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (CQC / Mental Health Act)
- Previous experience as Clinical Director, Deputy MD, or similar highly desirable
- Responsible Officer experience advantageous (or willingness to undertake)
