We are currently recruiting for multiple experienced Duct Fitters to join a major project in Manchester City Centre, working alongside HVAC/AC Engineers on site. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure 8-10 months of full-time work, with overtime available and the potential for ongoing work with a large, reputable client.
We are looking for individuals who bring the right skills, a positive attitude, and a collaborative approach. You will be working as part of a supportive and professional team where good teamwork is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of rectangular, circular, and fire-rated ductwork
- Installation of associated brackets, supports, and fixings
- Measuring, marking, cutting, and fitting ductwork to required specifications
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Working closely alongside HVAC Engineers to coordinate duct installation with wider system works
- Ensuring all ducting is installed to required quality standards and building regulations
- Liaising with other trades and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Following all health & safety protocols and site procedures
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness
Requirements:
- Proven experience in ductwork installation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Valid CSCS Card
- Ability to work between Monday to Saturday, with overtime as required
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Two strong previous work references available to contact
- Eligibility to work in the UK
