Downstream Risk Engineer - Insurance - UAE ( 5 roles ) Six Figure net plus relocation support and visasWe are working in partnership with a Global Profitable Insurance company that has offices worldwide and growing rapidly due to growth of the business.The role will be heavily client facing, and require a great deal of flexibility around the facilities visited. It will involve surveying client\'s oil & gas, downstream Refinery assets, producing risk assessments, loss estimates and conducting training and benchmarking exercises. The role offers the opportunity to interact with senior client staff in Risk Management, Operations and Engineering functions. The ability to communicate to all organisational levels is a critical competency.Insurance background is not required - you will be trained intensively for 6 monthsSpecial Skills:Sound working knowledge of Oil & Gas industry technologies Work execution methods and project management are required.Exposure to risk assessed driven decision-making is essential - relevant to field of expertise.Exposure to allied industries such as / Refinery / Chemical etc is a significant benefit working for Valero Dow Prax Petroineos Ineos Murco BP Total Shell UOP Honeywell/ among othersIT literacy to include general office systems such as Word, Excel, Power Point (or similar). Experience of technical simulation packages for process modelling, risk assessment, project execution purposes as is relevant to field of expertise.Enhanced written and verbal communication skills.Work Experience:4 -15 years\' experience in Operations / Maintenance / Technical Functions in Oil & Gas or PetrochemicalsAcademic Background:Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree preferablyInterviews 1st Aug
