A fast-growing, innovative clean technology company is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental strategy across engineering, manufacturing, and site-based projects.
The Role:
You'll take ownership of the HSE function across the full project lifecycle—from design and production through to installation and commissioning. The focus is on ensuring regulatory compliance, managing high-risk operations, and embedding a strong, proactive safety culture across all teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain HSE systems aligned to ISO standards
- Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and industry best practice
- Lead audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Support safe delivery of engineering projects and site operations
- Oversee contractor safety and high-risk activities (e.g. lifting, pressure systems, hazardous substances)
- Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive safety culture
About You:
- Proven HSE leadership experience in engineering, manufacturing, or energy sectors
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) essential; relevant degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety regulations and process safety
