We are seeking a seasoned Quant Developer to spearhead the creation of a cutting-edge cross-asset analytics platform for front office sales. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders and users to define requirements and implement both back-end and UI components, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of a cross-asset front office analytics platform.
- Engage with sales users and senior stakeholders in sales and trading.
- Report progress and suggest strategic direction to senior management.
- Design system architecture and APIs.
- Develop backend and frontend components using Python and React.
- Ensure platform consistency with firmwide strategic initiatives through collaboration with technology teams.
- Work closely with sales businesses across Markets, the technology department, and senior leadership in sales and trading.
- Clearly articulate complex technical issues and requirements to all stakeholders.
- PhD or Master's in Quantitative Finance, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a front office development role at a major investment bank.
- Proven experience in designing, building, and supporting user-facing analytics in a front office sales environment.
- Expertise in system and API design.
