Based in Glasgow, they are at the forefront of design, offering industry-leading modelling capabilities and a collaborative, detail-driven culture. Role OverviewAs Technical Director (Electrical), you will lead the electrical engineering function across our client\’s projects, with a primary focus on data centre design. You will: Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight on electrical systems design, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for high-performance, resilient infrastructure.Mentor and develop a team of electrical engineers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.Engage directly with clients, contributing to business development and project acquisition.Drive sustainability and energy optimisation across all electrical designs.Travel to project sights across the UK and Europe as per project demand. (Expenses paid by the company) RequirementsYou will need:A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.Chartered Engineer status (or working towards).Extensive experience in data centre or mission critical building services design projects.Proven leadership in managing complex engineering projects and teams.Strong understanding of electrical deliverables in mission critical projects.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
