Percival are excited to be working exclusively with Compassion in World Farming to help them recruit for a new Direct Marketing Fundraising Manager to join their vibrant team. Compassion in World Farming is a global organisation dedicated to improving the lives of farmed animals, influencing positive change through campaigns, research, and advocacy. With their international headquarters in Surrey, UK, and teams across 14 countries, they strive to create a sustainable and compassionate food system for all.
Reports to: UK Head of Fundraising
Location: Godalming HQ, Surrey (minimum 2 days in the office)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- As the Direct Marketing Fundraising Manager, you will play a vital role in driving fundraising income and long-term growth.
- You will lead the planning and management of direct marketing campaigns, with a particular focus on Lottery, Appeals and Raffle.
- Managing the development and execution of multi-channel fundraising campaigns across direct mail and digital platforms.
- Overseeing creative development, production, and distribution processes for direct marketing materials.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to deliver engaging, results-driven campaigns.
- Analysing campaign data and performance metrics to optimise fundraising strategies and achieve KPIs.
- Managing budgets, forecasting, and ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, direct marketing best practices, and supporter engagement strategies.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Proven experience in direct marketing fundraising, ideally within the charity sector.
- Strong track record in managing direct mail and multi-channel campaigns, from concept to execution. Lottery experience is desired.
- Experience working with creative agencies, print production suppliers, and data teams.
- Ability to analyse campaign performance, interpret data, and optimise strategies accordingly.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to engage supporters and donors.
- A passion for animal welfare and an understanding of ethical fundraising principles.
