Being aware of security principles and conforming to a secure by design approach.Salary – £45,000 to £55,000 subject to experienceWhat We ProvideFlexible Working (40hr per week)33 days holiday which includes Bank HolidaysHybrid workingPart-Time or Full-Time consideredTOILPensionSalary dependent on experienceOther financial incentivesExperience RequirementsWe expect you to have demonstrated experience and subject matter expertise in at least some of the following technologies and practices:Experience of administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems within medium/large corporate environments;Experience of IAC techniques using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, PackerIOExposure to scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python;Exposure to administering Virtualised or Containerised systems in VMWare or Docker;Knowledge of CI/CD (Cloud native or Jenkins, Concourse), Docker/Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, OpenShift (PaaS).Experience assisting with the designing, deploying and administering Linux or Unix based solutions, using Virtualisation, Containerisation, techniques & procedures.Experience working within agile teams.Roles and ResponsibilitiesWorking with team members to develop network resources using IaC.Contributing to agile ways of working.Conforming to secure by design principles ensuring all work is suitably tested and verified.Working with the team to define estimates for new work.Building infrastructure to various cloud technologies.Designing specific network components using agreed architectures, design standards and methodologies.Review and verify network designs against nonfunctional requirements including security access and audit controls.Identify and evaluate architectures highlighting the tradeoffs in cost, performance, security and scalability.Produce specifications of cloud-based or on-premise networks for translation into detailed designs.Identify risks and vulnerabilities. Making an assessment of their impact, probability and documenting the results.Researching and investigating potential attack techniques, providing recommendations to defend against them.QualificationsThe candidate must be willing to hold Government Clearance and go through the respective vetting.
