  • Impactful Communication: Act as the key advisor to senior leadership, providing expert guidance on complex safety matters and ensuring policies and procedures are understood and embraced at all levels.
  • Team Empowerment: Inspire and mentor a team of H&S professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and shared responsibility.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use your expertise to deliver meaningful insights, ensuring our safety programs are both effective and continuously improving through audits, risk assessments, and targeted interventions.
  • Hands-On Support: Take an active role in the implementation of health and safety initiatives, from training to on-the-ground risk management, ensuring practical application of policies.

About You

  • Proven Experience: You’ve led health and safety programs in complex, multi-site environments, ideally within a healthcare or CQC-regulated setting, and you know how to adapt strategies to fit diverse needs.
  • Strategic Vision: You can see the bigger picture, understanding how safety is integral to the success of the entire organization. But you’re also grounded in practical, hands-on problem solving.
  • Collaborative Leadership: You have the ability to influence and inspire at all levels, building strong relationships with senior leadership, teams, and service users alike.
  • Passionate About People: You care deeply about creating environments where people are safe, supported, and empowered to perform at their best.
  • Relevant Certifications: NEBOSH or equivalent qualification is essential.
