Strong salary and car/allowanceMon to FriHybrid role - mixture of home, and travel across EnglandHere at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, we are looking to develop our central Sustainability Division in relation to our progression towards Net Zero.Here, you will play a key role in the transformation of how we deliver services for our clients. This unique role is focused on embedding sustainability into the heart of our service line design—ensuring that every process, material, and method we use is as low carbon and environmentally and socially sustainable as practically possible.You’ll work closely with senior service line leads to rethink traditional approaches, enabling new ways of working and fostering behaviour change. Your expertise will help reduce the carbon footprint and environmental impact of our service lines, and accelerate our journey towards low-carbon, high-impact service delivery.If you bring deep sustainability knowledge, particularly within the built environment, understand service delivery, and have the ability to influence at a senior level, innovate, and drive progress, we’d love to hear from you.Actions will include:Work with core service lines to develop deployment ready decarbonisation strategies, and sign off plans, milestones and KPI’s with MD’s, Heads of function, and other senior leadership team members as needed to ensure teams can be held to account for delivery.Develop and implement effective reporting and analysis tools to ensure that the delivery of all service line sustainability activity is delivered to scope and within the agreed milestones.• Define and communicate roles, responsibilities and decision-making authority to ensure accountability of delivery for each service line and escalate issues through agreed channels.Ensure that SME’s, source, test, evidence and implement suitable solutions that are cost effective and impact on the delivery of action plan targets.Share data with the Net Zero and Technical functions and report progress of individual service line plans.Ensure appropriate data management systems and processes are in use by each service line, highlight any data or system issues to the Data Governance Manager and agree resolutions.Identify, manage and mitigate risk associated with the delivery of the service line plans, escalating any business wide and/or critical risks/issues to the Head of function.Co-ordinate task management activity from internal and external service line SMEs and resources across UK&I, group, customers and suppliers to successfully deliver targets and outcomes for each plan.Create standardised methods, resources and templates for reporting progress against each service line plan.Set up and manage the governance and meeting framework and cadence for SteerCo and individual service line project leadsStay up to date with industry trends to help inform solutions for service lines.
