The FirmA global law firm in London are seeking both and NQ-1 and 5-8 PQE Data Protection Lawyers to join their dynamic and growing Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity department in their London office.The Role:You will be an integral part of a thriving data protection team that works across a varied workload and cutting-edge data protection matters, including:Advising on Data Protection Law: Providing legal advice to clients on complex data protection and privacy issues, with a primary focus on GDPR, UK GDPR, and other relevant national and international regulations.Drafting and negotiating data protection agreements, privacy policies, data processing agreements, and other critical legal documentation.Advising on sophisticated international data transfer mechanisms, such as standard contractual clauses and binding corporate rules.Supporting privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) for new technologies and services.Gaining exposure to and advising on the privacy implications of new technologies like AI, blockchain, and IoT.About You:You will be a NQ to 1 PQE or 5-8 PQE lawyer, from a reputable law firm or in-house legal department, with a keen interest or some demonstrable exposure to data protection and privacy lawBenefitsThe role offers the chance to work on challenging and high-profile matters for a premier global client base, in a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive working environment within a firm that values teamwork and individual contribution.It provides an outstanding opportunity for professional development and rapid career advancement in a growing and vital practice area.The role also offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.To ApplyIf this role isn’t quite right, please contact me for a confidential conversation to discuss other opportunities we have that may be suitable. 07386660098 chris.roberts@idexconsulting.com
