As our client increases its use of data to drive decision-making and performance, they are strengthening their Data Protection team to effectively manage risk and ensure ongoing compliance.ResponsibilitiesProvide expert advice on UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018Lead on incident investigations and coordinate responses to data subject rights requestsConduct and review DPIAsWork closely with stakeholders across the business, including senior leadersMaintaining / improving internal data protection policies and proceduresCo-manage the data protection inbox and respond to internal queries.Assist in preparing for internal audits and monitoring data protection KPIs.RequirementHolds a recognised data protection qualification (e.g. BCS, IAPP CIPP/E, or similar)At least 3 years of experience in a dedicated data protection, privacy, or compliance roleStrong understanding of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018Skilled at building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levelsHighly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
