The Role: As a Data Consultant, you will be responsible for Data & Analytics function in the manufacturing industry and for aligning the data strategies with enterprise goals. This role involves collaborating with cross-disciplinary data and analytics leaders to develop and manage data products, driving efficiency and growth in manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive strategy to unlock value in the data both internally and as a product.
- Enable the organization with accurate, reliable and actionable data using a 360-degree view of the customer.
- Serve as the champion for data organization and drive a cultural shift to embrace and leverage data.
- Improve management and use of data through technology, governance and processes.
- Provide the right direction and drive for data governance, definition, standards, strategy, controls, architecture, tools and technology.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Proven ability to couple strategy and execution.
- Executive and board level exposure and presence.
- Ability to define key questions and answer them with data and analytics.
- State-of-the-art understanding of how to use data and analytics to drive business goals and insights.
- Experience implementing data and analytics strategies in a complex organization structure.
- Excellent understanding of modern event-driven data platforms with a focus on the manufacturing tech stack.
- Strong experience in building and managing cross-functional teams within the dynamic manufacturing business environment.
- Ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels within the manufacturing company.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Excellent understanding in integrating large datasets, e.g., ETL/ELT, data replication/CDC, message-oriented data movement, API design.
- Ability to build ground ready for AI & GEN AI at the organization level.
