We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Project Manager to join a leading specialist contractor delivering data infrastructure solutions across high-spec data centre environments in London and Europe. This role focuses exclusively on structured cabling, fibre optics, containment, and network infrastructure.
The Role:
You’ll lead the successful delivery of structured cabling projects in live and new-build data centre environments, ensuring installations meet Tier standards, client requirements, and strict programme deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of structured cabling and fibre installation projects.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and delivery schedules.
- Liaise with end clients, general contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure quality and compliance with design specs, testing requirements, and documentation.
- Track project progress, produce reports, and manage change control.
- Coordinate materials, labour, and tooling to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure all works comply with CDM and health & safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing data cabling projects in live or hyperscale data centres.
- Strong understanding of Cat6/Cat6a/Cat7, fibre, and associated test and certification standards.
- Familiar with containment systems, cable routing, and patching.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- CSCS/ECS card (Black or Gold), SSSTS or SMSTS.
- Right to work in the UK and willing to travel when required.
