As a Senior Sales Executive (ERP-Focused), you will serve as a trusted adviser to customers, driving long-term strategic direction and cultivating C-level engagements. You will primarily promote Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, positioning its full ERP capabilities to convert prospects into loyal customers. This role requires strong business development expertise, excellent relationship management skills, and a passion for delivering digital transformation through ERP solutions.
Key Skills & Experience:- Proven record of selling ERP or comparable cloud-based solutions to strategic accounts, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Demonstrable expertise in complex sales orchestration: account planning, lead qualification, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Skilled in constructing compelling business cases and negotiating terms and contracts with executive-level stakeholders.
- Confident engaging CXOs, establishing productive, long-term partnerships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field (preferred), or equivalent demonstrable experience in technology-related sales.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or other comparable ERP platforms is highly advantageous.
- Meet Annual Sales Targets: Achieve defined annual sales plans in line with company objectives and personal targets.
- Business Development: Broaden the company’s presence among new-logo customers and existing accounts. Take part in marketing events, strategic account-planning sessions, and other lead-generation activities.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee the full sales cycle: from initial planning and deal negotiation to contract finalisation. Negotiate terms and pricing within company guidelines. Maintain accurate lead and opportunity tracking in the internal system.
- Client & Partner Management: Cultivate relationships with clients and partners; escalate issues to the Sales Director when necessary. Align client objectives with the organisation’s ERP solutions, ensuring a consultative, solution-oriented approach. Keep stakeholders updated on product developments and relevant industry trends.
- Administration & Reporting: Record all documentation, communications, and contracts in internal systems. Provide periodic pipeline forecasts and other metrics to support operational planning.
- Personal Development: Stay current with market changes, Microsoft D365 F&O updates, and ERP best practices. Collaborate with technical/delivery teams to remain knowledgeable about new features that meet evolving client requirements.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner effectively with colleagues and leadership across different regions, fostering a supportive environment. Share insights, success stories, and best practices that elevate overall team performance.
- Valid passport and the right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to travel (up to 25%) across the UK for client or partner engagements.
- Ability to work remotely with occasional face-to-face client meetings and internal sessions.
- Competitive base salary (£120,000–£130,000) plus a £50,000 OTE.
