Position Overview: We seek a highly talented Concept Artist who can add value and perspective to Puyi’s global creative ecosystem. This role demands creative brilliance and strategic nuance to navigate our complex brand matrix. The Concept Artist will collaborate closely with the Puyi Brand Director in a dedicated content development role. This position demands a visionary thinker with the ability to synthesize cross-functional insights into compelling concepts for campaigns, products, and immersive brand experiences. Success in this role requires balancing creativity with strategic rigor, ensuring alignment with Puyi’s visual identity and long-term brand vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Brand Director to elevate Puyi’s R&D capabilities, pitch and develop concepts on designated projects across internal departments including Product Development / Store Development / Brand Management. The Director serves as your creative compass—helping navigate brand guardrails while identifying strategic synergies.
- Being at the helm of a variety of creative projects and related content assets, contributing well-researched idea generation and thematic concepts development.
- Conceptualize and effectively visually communicate ideas to get buy-in from stakeholders. Compile storytelling and visual illustrations via sketches, mood boards to convey and pitch ideas.
- Follow up on queries / commercial feedback from internal teams and articulate conceptual ideas during the implementation processes and execution stage by internal teams.
- Provide direction for the creative and design development process of product campaigns and brand-led marketing initiatives, ensuring cohesiveness in delivery of quality outputs, budget, and deadline constraints.
- Proactively identify emerging trends relevant to our industry and products and the wider luxury fashion world.
- Potential involvement in video production projects during storyboarding and editing process.
- Potential involvement in digital marketing and technology teams to create engaging content.
About the Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree holder of Design, Liberal Arts, Fine Arts or any other related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in leading creative and brand design, Proven success in delivering effective & engaging marketing communications.
- Proven portfolio of high-end, luxury design.
- Creative thinker with passion in design and storytelling, eager to explore new ideas in design and communication strategies.
- Expertise in luxury retail and emerging digital trends and technologies is highly preferred.
- Detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- With excellent presentation skills in both creative visualization and verbalization.
- Strong graphic design skills.
- Solution oriented and positive – proactive and resourceful.
- Great eye for detail.
- Previous experience in a luxury brand is ideal but not necessary.
- Experience with Adobe CC, Illustrator, In-Design and Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effect and Premier Pro.
