Commercial Finance Director - Retail

An exciting multi channel Retailer are currently recruiting for a commercially focused Finance Director, who will sit on the leadership team and help shape and drive the business forward in both their UK and International expansion.Some of the duties of the successful Finance Director:Lead on all commercial finance matters and implementing ‘best in class’ processes that will withstand the tests of time i.e. high growth periodsPartner with departments heads to understand the key issues and business driversPartner and educate the physical store teams on the importance of completeness and accuracy, budgets VS forecasts etcCo lead on fund raising activitiesGuide the ship and take control of both the in-year and 3-year strategy planOversee the team on core elements of Finance as the no1 within Finance, such as Month End closeBe the escalation point of contact for external auditors when it comes to the annual audit processExperience and Qualifications for the successful Finance Director:CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified with a number of years PQEStrong Leadership experience with managing and driving a high-performance teamPE/VC Experience would be great, but not essentialFundraising experience would be ideal, but not essentialConsumer related industry experience idealVery strong attention to detail
