InfraView have exclusively partnered with one of the top boutique Microsoft partners in the country who have invested heavily in their business, staff, ops, training etc. They need someone to join their Azure team in a Platform Engineer role and make a real difference to their customers, which are both private and public sector.
The platform engineers will deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing Azure infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients. It’s essential this person can take a project from presales to then design, build and implement environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform. This is not a product DevOps role; you won’t be building pipelines for SaaS teams, you’ll be delivering real-world infrastructure and platform automation for production-grade environments.
Key Responsibilities:- 70% Approx Billable Work – Design and Implementation
- 30% R&D / Product Development / Personal Development
- Design and delivery of Azure solutions
- Focus on delivering Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Azure assessments for customers
- Drive cloud automation and CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Create Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-ready cloud environments aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework
- Provide technical guidance and assurance and ensure every solution delivered is highly secure and scalable
- Contribute to internal product and strategic improvements
- Azure infrastructure in a consultancy or project-led environment
- Terraform to deploy Azure workloads (modular design, pipeline based)
- Azure migration assessments and executing migration delivery
- Azure Landing Zones, governance, and security controls
- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- CI/CD tooling with Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines)
- PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI
- Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF)
