Our leading client is seeking a Cloud & Application Engineer to take ownership of their AWS-based SaaS platform. This is your chance to work at the intersection of DevOps and software engineering, driving innovation and reliability across mission-critical cloud applications. This hybrid role combines the strengths of a DevOps Engineer with the skills of a Cloud Application Developer, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of our connected services solutions. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office / Coventry per week.
What You’ll Do:
- Deploy and maintain robust AWS cloud infrastructure for SaaS platforms.
- Develop and support modern web applications and APIs using .NET (MVC, C#), Angular/TypeScript, and Python.
- Enhance and evolve existing codebases while implementing new features to meet dynamic business needs.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Ensure top-tier security, performance, and scalability across all cloud services.
- Collaborate in Agile teams using Scrum and Jira, and participate in an on-call support rota.
What You Bring:
- Deep expertise in AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc.).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong programming skills in .NET, Angular/TypeScript, Python, and JavaScript.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- DevOps Certification.
