About the Role

As a Functional Assessor with Ingeus, you'll assess how health conditions affect daily living through telephone, video and in-person assessments. You'll:

  • Review clinical evidence
  • Carry out structured assessments
  • Use focused questioning to gather accurate information
  • Produce clear, objective reports

No hands-on care. No shift work.

About You

You're a registered clinician who:

  • Communicates clearly and objectively
  • Is comfortable using computers and producing detailed written reports
  • Values structure and consistency

If your experience has been focused on a single speciality or limited patient group, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.

Essential Requirements

  • NMC or HCPC registration
  • At least 12 months' recent UK post-registration experience practicing in the UK for the past 12 months.
  • Broad clinical exposure across a range of adult conditions
  • Strong clinical reasoning and written communication skills

This role is best suited to clinicians who have worked with varied patient groups and conditions, rather than a narrow or highly specialised caseload.

What You'll Get

  • Salary + up to 10% annual bonus, paid quarterly
  • Starting salary - £44,862. Salary at 12 months - £46,862 + potential to earn an additional £2000 local bonus for this site.
  • Further salary uplifts aligned to new skills & development will continue to apply from year 2.
