An exciting new opportunity has opened for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join an innovative technology company in Cambridge. As Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of advanced electronic hardware, working across the full development lifecycle from concept through to testing and validation. The role will involve contributing to complex hardware design, supporting prototype development, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

What you'll do:

  • Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits for advanced hardware systems.
  • Create schematics, support PCB layout, and assist with component selection.
  • Support prototype bring-up, testing, and debugging activities in the laboratory.
  • Work closely with software, firmware, and mechanical engineers to ensure successful system integration.
  • Contribute to design reviews and maintain clear engineering documentation.

What we're looking for:

  • A degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong experience in analogue and digital circuit design and hardware development.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB development tools.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and debugging.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and good communication skills within engineering teams.
